David is Principle and also a DF1 trainer and a Clinical Teacher.

Dentist of the Year 2007 and has been highly commended on 2 occasions.

Sheffield Clinician of the Year 2005.

David has been a dental foundation trainer for fifteen years.

Dental Surgeon Dave Thomas B.D.S.

Dave qualified in Sheffield 1999. He has a special interest in Endodontics. Dave also holds the post of part-time lecturer in Prosthodontics to Postgraduate students at the University of Sheffield . .

Dave has been a DF1 trainer since 2004. Dave is also a member of the DF1 trainer focus group for our region

Dave became a Partner within our Practice in 2004.

Recently he has received The Certificate of Clinical Education with distinction.

He is currently awaiting his results from the MJDF course.

He delivers facial aesthetics i.e. Botox & Invisalign.

In 2008 and 2009 Dave Thomas was Winner of Young Dentist of the North Award

Winner Employer of the Year in 2005 and 2011.

Practice Manager Jane Armitage Cert D.P.M. Dip D.P.M.

Jane has been involved in the dental profession since 1972. Her qualifications are:-

Certificate in Dental Practice Management

Professional Diploma in Dental Practice Management

Higher Professional Diploma in Dental Practice Management

Jane also hold the vocational assessor award, this she uses in her capacity of Assessor and Regional Co-ordinator for the British Dental Association Good Practice Scheme.

Jane made history at the Dental Awards by becoming the only person in the history of the awards to win the title on more than one occasion. Jane has since won the title in 2005,2006,2007 and 2009.

In 2009 she was awarded ‘The Certificate of Merit for Services to the Dental Profession by The British Dental Association.

In December 2011 she was named as the year's recipient for the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award at the Dentistry Awards.

Adam Calvert B.D.S. GDC No:- 114233

Qualified 2007 Sheffield University.

Adam joined our Practice in 2007 commencing as a DF1. He has remained at the Practice as an associate and is also a clinical teacher at our Fairlawn’s Practice.

Sunit Vasir B.D.S . G.D.C. No:- 103425

Qualified 2006 Sheffield University.

Sunit joined our Practice also as a DF1. He has recently increased his hours to full time working as an associate at Langsett Road and Clinical Teacher at our Fairlawn's Practice.

Laura Dental Nurse/Oral Health Educator/Senior Nurse G.D.C. No :- 113803

Laura is the Head Nurse for both of our Practices. She is also a qualified Radiographer in addition to being a qualified first aider. Laura is also qualified to administer fluoride application to children over three years of age.

Laura was a finalist in the 2011 and 2010 dental awards in the Dental Nurse of the Year Category.
She was commended as Oral Health Promoter in 2007.

Kirsty Care Nurse Co-Ordinator/Dental Nurse G.D.C. No:- 113149

Kirsty is a qualified Dental Nurse, Radiographer, Care Nurse Co-ordinator and is qualified to apply fluoride.

In 2007 Kirsty won the Dental Nurse of the Year title at the Dental awards.

Debbie Dental Nurse/Receptionist G.D.C.No:- 11456

Debbie is a qualified Dental Nurse and Radiographer.

For the past few years she has become interested in the admin side of dentistry. Debbie is responsible for the admin work at Fairlawns.

Kay Dental Nurse G.D.C.No:- 115300

In 2011 Kay had served twenty five years working at this Practice.

Kay is a qualified Dental Nurse and Radiographer. Kay is the senior nurse at the Fairlawns site.

Laura - Dental Nurse G.D.C.No :- 190783

Laura is a qualified Dental Nurse working between both Practices.

She is also a qualified Radiographer, First Aider and is the Fire Marshall for the Fairlawns site.

Natalie - Dental Nurse G.D.C. No:- 135272

Natalie is a qualified Dental Nurse with nine years experience.

She has also gained the Radiography qualification. Natalie is the named Child/Adult protection officer at our Fairlawn’s Practice.

Gemma - Dental Nurse G.D.C..No:- 207105

Gemma is a qualified Dental Nurse working between both Practices.

Gemma is the named person for Child/Adult protection at our Langsett Road site.

Charlotte – G.D.C.No:- 217335

Charlotte received her training at this Practice. Last year she qualified as a Dental Nurse and now works between both Practices.

Charlotte is also a qualified First Aider.

Claire - Dental Nurse Awaiting G.D.C. No.

Claire has recently obtained her qualification in Dental Nursing. Claire has also received training in child/adult protection.

Claire will now progress and study the Radiography Course.

Carly Receptionist

Carly is our senior Receptionist based at Langsett Road. She is also the Fire Marshall for the Practice. Carly has several Customer Care qualifications. She is also our Fire Marshall at Langsett Road.

Carlys administration skills have been recognised by winning the accolade Receptionist of the Year in 2007 and 2009 at the Dental Awards she has also been a finalist in this category on several occasions.
